Susan started performing as a singer/musician as an eleven-year-old. By age sixteen, she was playing two instruments and writing songs that won local talent awards. As a young adult, she performed primarily original Contemporary Christian music and had the unforgettable experience of being produced by Kerry Livgren, of the band KANSAS on her first professional recording. Since then, she has recorded three other projects and has been raising four musically gifted kids. Susan and her children perform, write and record Gospel Rock, Alternative, Country and Pop music, and also provide studio session work for other artists. Susan’s past experience includes leading a choir that backed Celine Dion at the '96 Olympics, and providing background vocals for Brian Littrell, James Brown and KANSAS.
Herman is a music producer and Office Manager of J Pat Management here in Atlanta. Although he never took music lessons, he began his music career in 2nd grade when his mother handed him a set of drumsticks. By junior high school he was an accomplished award-winning drums and percussionist who recorded on 5 albums produced by his school. He formed a rock band in high school, worked at a radio station and behind the scenes for a concert promoter, all the while soaking up everything he could about the music business. He then began learning how to program drum machines, analog keyboards and synthesizers, and how to handle sound, lighting and video. This expertise landed him a job on the road with a band called Scott & Raven out of Cleveland resulting in a hit dance record called “Monkey Paw.” Herman became in demand resulting in him working with Bobby Brown from the 80’s throughout 1997, including traveling on Bobby’s world tour for 3-1/2 years. Herman moved to Atlanta in 1997 and went to work at Bosstown Recording Studios. And work with LaFace Records Artists, Such as Usher traveling to the David Letterman Show and on Janet Jackson’s tour with Usher. Mr. Herman has worked with many other notable acts such as NWA, D’Angelo, Luther Vandrow, Whitney Houston, Limp Bizkit, and neyo. Most recently he has produced music for a new act, ANGELIC, for his production company, nuqis music / JVMM
Rebecca Ball is an accomplished vocalist who began singing at age 3 and has been singing professionally since the age of 16. She has performed in multiple shows at numerous amusement parks around the country, appeared in numerous trade shows, worked as a studio vocalist and has appeared in several musical productions, as well. She is a talented vocal arranger and vocal coach and received her Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Additionally she has a Masters in Education from the University of Georgia and teaches Special Education in the Gwinnett County School System. She has been served as the choir director at New Hope Baptist in Norcross and, for the last 12 years, at Redeemer Presbyterian in Snellville. She ran her own music education company, The Music Lady, for 3 years, teaching music to pre-K students in corporate day-care centers throughout metro-Atlanta. She has been a featured vocalist with the Ruby Reds Band for many years, and her song stylings lend an air of sophistication to the ensemble.

4. Playing an instrument is a plus.
5. The judges will score each contestant.
6. You will be notified if you made the cut.
7. The top 20 highest scores will go head to head.
8. At the Southern Fame Showcase only 3 winners will be awarded.

1. All Lyrics MUST BE FAMILY FRIENDLY; No Explicit Words or suggestive content.
2. All genre of music is allowed.
3. You can perform originals or covers.
4. You can perform with a Track (CD) or live instrument.

6. Please arrive 15 minutes before your audition time.
